S.A.V. E. Leaders

 

The S.A.V. E. Leaders is a student driven organization. Students learn about alternatives to violence and practice what they learn through school and community service projects. As they participate in S.A.V.E activities, students learn the virtues of good citizenship, civility, and nonviolence. This exceptional group of scholars is on call all day, every day- They lead by example and are a role model for all. 

During our Friday afternoon meetings, S.A.V.E. Leaders are engaged in activities and discussions that provide them with opportunities to:

• Develop leadership skills
• Investigate the needs of PS48 and our surrounding 
• Community Exchange ideas 
• Debate current issues 
• Plan community service projects
• Collaborate the completion of projects Build up conflict management skills
